M-Bus remote meter reading system (symmetrical mbus) is a European standard 2-wire two bus system, mainly used for consuming measuring instruments such as heat meters and water meters, flow meter series.
Mbus bus is a European standard, and the main difference from ordinary 485 bus is:
1. The Mbus bus operates with a working voltage of 30-36V for instrument data transmission; The general operating voltage of 485 bus is around 3.8V;
2. Mbus can fully support star connection bus, while 485 bus usually requires hand in hand series connection.
